Juneau, Alaska - In the rain ☔

Today we woke up and one can  expect in the rainforest it was raining.  We made the most of the day by turning it into our culture and history day.

We drove to the North end of the habitatable area, about 22 miles from our campground north of Juneau.  On the way, we visited St Therese sanctuary.  Our wildlife spotting for the day, was an Alaskan marmot.

For culture, we stopped at a restaurant featuring Russian dumplings. You had two choices, beef or potato. We got both and split them.

Our next stop was the Anchorage State Museum.  It had a great display about the the native peoples of Alaska. Also it covered the economic development from fishing to canneries to gold and oil.

No visit to Juneau could be complete without enjoying an Alaskan brewery beer.
