We left Denali National Park at about 9:00. For the entire day, we traveled in the shadow of the magnificent Mountain. The reason I have 30 photos, is that when I took each photo I was convinced I would never see a more beautiful sight. Yet, again and again around the next corner it would even get better.
For the afternoon, we did a 6 mile hike. Again, the views featured Mount Denali. As we reached the summit of our hike, we got a text from our son Daniel. He sent a photo of himself and our son Andrew who were on an adventure themselves, at the same time, on the Oregon coast. We proud of how adventuresome they are.
Tonight we are camped in Talkeetna Alaska, on a beautiful River. Allegedly, the town was idea for the TV series, Northern Exposure in the 1990's.
Loved that around every corner Denali was even a grander sight. I hope you have that memory etched in your heart.
ReplyDeleteIt's so great you've had such visibility. Not common for Denali. Your photos are the view from my sister's cabin!
